Meet Our Team

Mr. Yee Chew Wei is the Legal Assistant in the Chye Kwee Yeow & Co’s litigation department. He holds the LL.B (Hons.) Degree from Multimedia Universiti of Malacca (MMU) and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in January 2013.

Mr. Yee is regularly appointed to act as counsel for fellow solicitors and to advise and represent individuals and companies in matters relating to family matters, land disputes, land acquisition, defamation, as well as corporate and commercial litigation and etc.

Mr. Yee has several reported and unreported cases under his belt across practice areas. His notable cases include a Court of Appeal ruling on the validity of extension order and land reference order for overpayment to the land owners which contributed to the development of the law of land acquisition in Malaysia
